You will find that our friendly volunteers will provide instruction so that you get the most out of your ‘flight’, and as you open the throttle and listen to the roar of the iconic Merlin engine you will travel back in time and become one of those famous Spitfire pilots of World War II, but flying round the Isle of Wight, over Windsor Castle or over 21st century London. With the replica flight controls and wide screen pilot view, our Spitfire simulator experience is simply ‘fantastic’, ‘brilliant’ and ‘EPIC’ – these are genuine visitor comments. The simulator is suitable for ‘pilots’ aged 8 or over – the oldest person to fly it was 97!

Events for Groups
For a really great Spitfire Simulator experience, why not bring a group of family, friends or colleagues to enjoy our new Spitfire event?
Two teams of max. 4 people will have a flying lesson and then race against the clock up and down the Thames in central London. Take off from London City airport, fly past the O2 and Canary Wharf before diving through Tower Bridge. Turn round Big Ben then go back through Tower Bridge and land at City Airport again. Cheering and booing are positively encouraged as penalty time is added for crashing into the river or even into buildings.
